Medicare Advantage
Medicare Advantage, also known as Part C, offers the same coverage as Parts A and B, including additional benefits such as routine vision, hearing, and dental coverage. You can also purchase a Medicare Advantage Plan that offers prescription drug coverage.
Original Medicare
Original Medicare, also known as Parts A and B, provide coverage for inpatient and outpatient services. While Original Medicare does provide a good amount of coverage for these services, it does not cover everything. With a Medicare Supplement Plan, you can receive coverage for the costs that Original Medicare does not cover, such as coinsurance, copayments, and deductibles.
Medicare Part D
Medicare Part D is Medicare’s prescription drug coverage plan. It can be purchased with a Medicare Advantage Plan as an extra benefit, or purchased with Original Medicare as a standalone plan.
